Malta Student Visa
Going to Malta in order to study? Most people have probably never heard of Malta, but this place is definitely worth a visit if you want to come to a different part of Europe that not a lot of people go to.
I’ll break everything down for you below about how to go about getting the Malta Student Visa.

Visa required for U.S. citizens before you go to Malta: No. Malta is a party to the Schengen Agreement. This means that U.S. citizens may enter Malta for up to 90 days for tourist or business purposes without a visa.
Visa required for non-U.S. citizens before you go to Malta: If you are on this list, you are required to have a visa for Malta.
If you’re inside the U.S.:
*Note that the Embassy in Washington, D.C. will only cater to applicants who reside in the United States with the exception of the state of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. Residents of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut can send their application to our Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York.

Good practice is to call up the embassy or consulate to confirm the fee amounts as they are always subject to change.
Submit your required materials from Step 2 and visa fee from Step 3 to the embassy or consulate you found in Step 1.
If you want to apply by mail, enclose a self-addressed prepaid return envelope.
Congratulations! The Embassy or Consulate of Malta will give to you your brand new Malta visa.
