Visa required for U.S. citizens before you go to Kyrgyzstan:  No.  U.S. citizens can obtain a one-month single-entry, non-extendable tourist visa upon arrival at the Manas International Airport outside Bishkek for a fee of $80 without invitation or sponsorship.

Visa fee

The appropriate processing fee should be made payable to “Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic” if applying at the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Washington D.C.

Submit materials

Submit your required materials from Step 2 and visa fee from Step 3 to the embassy or consulate you found in Step 1.

If you want to apply in person: If you applied at the Embassy in Washington D.C., be mindful of the pickup and drop-off times.

If you want to apply by mail: Enclose a self-addressed prepaid return envelope of USPS Express Mail.

Receive your visa

Congratulations! The Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic will give to you your brand new Kyrgyzstan visa.
