Find your closest consulate

If you’re inside the U.S.:

Ghana Embassy in Washington D.C.

If you’re outside of the U.S.: Click here.

Gather documentation

The best list of required documents if you are applying within the U.S. is here at the Ghana Embassy website.  Go to the consulate or embassy website you found in Step 1 to get the visa requirements that apply to people living in your country.

Visa fee
  • Note that in most cases, the visa will be free of charge.
  • The visa fee will depend on where you are applying from and if you want single or multiple entries.
  • Good practice is to call up the embassy or consulate you found in Step 1 to confirm the fee amounts as they are always subject to change.
  • If you are applying within the United States, the visa fees are posted here at the Ghana Embassy website.
