Are you passing through Estonia en route to somewhere else?  You might need to get the Airport Transit Visa depending on what country you are from.

I’ll break everything down for you below about how to go about getting the Estonia Airport Transit Visa.

  • Visa required for U.S. citizens before you go to Estonia:  No.
    • Estonia is a party to the Schengen Agreement. As such, U.S. citizens for business or tourism are permitted to stay in the Schengen area for 90 days without a visa within a six-month period.
  • Visa required for non-U.S. citizens before you go to Estonia:
    • If you are on this list, you DO NOT need to get a visa before you go to Estonia.

  • Submission instructions will vary from consulate to consulate and embassy to embassy, so you will need to check the submission instructions at the website of the embassy or consulate you found in Step 1.

Congratulations!  The Embassy or Consulate of Estonia will give to you your brand new Estonia visa.
