How to Get a Tourist Visa for Cyprus

Cyprus Tourist Visa

Cyprus Tourist Visa

Cyprus has a pretty straightforward visa process.  The Cyprus Tourist Visa can also be called the “Short Stay” or “Travel Visa.”

The visa issued will likely be issued for multiple-entry, enabling foreigners who seek to enter Cyprus, for reasons other than immigration, to pay a multiple visits.  The duration of each stay must not exceed three months in any half-year period from the date of first entry.

As a general rule, this visa could be issued for one or several entries.  In the case of foreigners who need to travel frequently to Cyprus, for example on business, short-stay visas may be issued for several visits, provided that the total length of these visits does not exceed three months in any half-year.  This multiple entry visa may be valid for one year, and in exceptional cases, for more than a year but for no more than five years for certain categories of people.

I’ll break everything down for you below about how to go about getting the Cyprus Tourist Visa.

Visa required for U.S. citizens before you go to Cyprus:  No.  U.S. citizens don’t need a visa for stays of less than 90 days. For longer stays, you need a visa or residence permit.
