How to Get an Afghanistan Student Visa

Afghanistan Student Visa

Afghanistan Student Visa

Who Can Apply?

  • Want to hit the books in Kabul or any other part of Afghanistan?  Well, my friend, you will need to get a student visa.
  • A student visa for Afghanistan is for foreign students who intend to study in Afghanistan. The relevant university/academic institution must contact the ‘Cultural Relations Department of the Afghan Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ directly.

How to Apply?

If You Live in the United States

There are only 3 consulates in the United States where you can apply for an Afghanistan visa.  I recommend applying to the consulate closest to you in order to get your visa faster (but not required from the information I’ve seen as at the time of this writing).

Choose 1 of the 3 consulates below:

If You Live Outside of the United States
  • Find your nearest embassy or consulate here.
  • Be sure to check the embassy or consulate that you found above as documents (and fees) might vary from place to place.
  • Submit your materials to the consulate or embassy.  Note that each embassy or consulate will have different submission instructions.  Follow the instructions carefully so that your application is not rejected.
  • After some time of waiting, you will get your visa.
