Romania Short Stay Visa

Romania Short Stay Visa

If you are planning to go to Romania for a short visit, you might need to get a Short Stay Visa depending on what country you are from. The short-stay visa allows you to stay in Romania for no more than 90 days within an interval of maximum 6 months from your date of entry (in the case of a multiple-entry visa, the duration of the stay will be taken into account from the date of the first entry).

There are a number of different purposes for which the Romanian short-stay visa is granted:

  • Tourism
  • Business
  • Official government mission
  • Private visit, transportation
  • Participation in sports activities
  • Cultural, scientific or academic events

Go to my Romania visa page for information on other types of visas for Romania.
