If you want to go to Montenegro and stay in the country for more than 90 days, you are going to need to get a Long Stay Visa.

The Montenegro Long Stay Visa is described here at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration.

(Go to my Montenegro visa page for information on other types of visas for Montenegro.)

I’ll break everything down for you below about how to go about getting the Montenegro Long Stay Visa.

1
Find your closest consulate
2
Gather documentation
  • The official list of required documents is here, but you should definitely double check the website of the Consulate or Embassy you found in Step 1 above to confirm what is required for you.
