How to Get a Business Visa for Mongolia

Mongolia Business Visa

Mongolia Business Visa

Got a business trip in Mongolia?  You might need to get a Business Visa depending on what country you are from.

(Go to my Mongolia visa page for information on other types of visas for Mongolia.)

I’ll break everything down for you below about how to go about getting the Mongolia Business Visa.

  • Visa required for U.S. citizens before you go to Mongolia:  No.
    • You don’t need a visa if you are planning on staying in Mongolia for less than 90 days.  However, if you are planning to stay in Mongolia for more than 30 days, you will need to register with the Office of Immigration, Naturalization, and Foreign Citizens in Ulaanbaatar within seven days of arriving in Mongolia.
    • If you have been in Mongolia for more than 90 days, you need to get an exit visa in order to leave the country.  You can get an exit visa from the Office of Immigration, and the processing time is normally 10 days.
  • Visa required for non-U.S. citizens before you go to Mongolia:
