Finland Visa General Information and Eligibility

  • Visa required for U.S. citizens before you go to Finland:  No.
    • Finland is a party to the Schengen agreement.  Because of this, U.S. citizens may enter Finland for up to 90 days for tourist or business purposes without a visa.
    • Your passport should be valid for at least three months beyond the period of stay.
    • You need sufficient funds and a return airline ticket.
  • Where to find the Finland Embassy or Consulate closest to your place of residence: 
    • If you’re inside the U.S.:  You have the Embassy of Finland in Washington D.C. and the Finland Consulates General in New York and Los Angeles.
