Going to Estonia for a short stay of 90 days or less?  You might need to get a visa depending on what country you are from.

I’ll break everything down for you below about how to go about getting the Estonia Short Stay Visa.

  • Visa required for U.S. citizens before you go to Estonia:  No.
    • Estonia is a party to the Schengen Agreement. As such, U.S. citizens for business or tourism are permitted to stay in the Schengen area for 90 days without a visa within a six-month period.
  • Visa required for non-U.S. citizens before you go to Estonia:
    • If you are on this list, you DO NOT need to get a visa before you go to Estonia.

  • The official list of required supporting documents is here at the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, but you should definitely check the website of the Consulate or Embassy you found in Step 1 above to confirm what is required for you.

  • Submission instructions will vary from consulate to consulate and embassy to embassy, so you will need to check the submission instructions at the website of the embassy or consulate you found in Step 1.
